Summer Reading Kick-Off

Sign up for your reading club and "Catch the Reading Bug" at the Greensburg Public Library!

4 Reading Groups to Choose From

Pre-Readers

Children Who Cannot Read By Themselves

Read 20 books and receive a free book!

Read 20 more books and receive a coupon for a Luehrs' ride at the Decatur County Fair!!

Read 20 more books and you can sign up to attend the end of summer party! You'll also receive a food coupon for a treat!

Read 20 more books and receive a plush bug!

Elementary

Grade 1 (Who Can Read) Through Grade 6

Read for 3 hours and receive a free book!

Read for 3 more hours and receive a coupon for a Luehrs' ride at the Decatur County Fair!

Read for 3 more hours and you can sign up to attend the end of summer party!  You´ll also receive a food coupon for a treat!

Read for 3 more hours and  receive a plush bug ~ and ~ fill out an entry form so you might win a $50 Savings Bond!

Teens

Students Grades 7 - 12

Read 4 hours or 240 pages and receive a free book.

Read for 4 more hours or 240 more pages and receive a coupon for a Luehrs' ride at the Decatur County Fair

Read for 4 more hours or 240 more pages and you can sign up to attend the YA end of summer movie and pizza party!  You´ll also get a Starbucks coupon!

Read for 4 more hours or 240 more pages and receive a magnetic bookmark, candy bar, ~and ~ an entry form for a $50 Savings Bond!

* Young Adults have the option of choosing to count number of hours read or number of pages read!

Family Reading Club

Everyone can join the Family Reading Club!  All you need is two people to make a family!

You can read aloud together, read to another person, listen to another person read, or just sit in the same room reading.

When you read together for one hour each week for 4 weeks this summer, you will receive a prize for the entire family.
