Children

Please take a moment to read the Library's policy on unattended children.

Children's game computers and children's Internet computer are now located in the Children's Room. A teen Internet computer is available in the Young Adult area for ages 13 - 18.

Any child 13 or younger* wishing to use the Internet or Microsoft Office programs should go first to either the children's Internet terminal or the teen Internet terminal (if they are available), before coming to the Computer Lab.

Age limit for children's game computers is 14 years.

* 12 and under MUST be accompanied by parent/legal guardian

Games

There are 5 children's computers available with a large variety of games and educational programs (over 100 titles!)

Time limit for games is 30 minutes.

Internet

Children 13 and under must have a parent or legal guardian with them to register for the Internet.
Children 12 and under must have a parent or legal guardian directly supervising them at the computer the entire time they are on the Internet.

Other

Several puzzles are available for those parents needing to work at a computer, but accompanied by a child too young to be at a computer alone.
