Quick Library Search is available for simple keyword searching from the main portal page. Quick Library Searches may be limited by material type only.
Click Search on the menu bar at the top of the main portal page for more advanced searching options. Searches may be limited to fields such as author, title, etc., as well as by material type, in any of the following types of searches:
• Keyword
• Browse
• Phrase
• Exact
• Advanced
• Boolean
Request an Item
After searching for and selecting an item in the PowerPAC, click Availability to check the status of an item. Only items NOT listed as "in" may have a request (reserve) placed on them.*
Click Place Request;
Enter Barcode Number (from back of library card) without spaces and Password, if not already logged-in;
Select Pickup Library (branch from which items will be picked up when available).
* Patrons may call the Library and request a reserve on an item listed as "in". Staff will do their best to fulfill such requests.
