If you see the bus parked near you, come on in. The door is always open!
- This is a free service. There is no charge for your first library card and anyone residing in Decatur County is entitled to a card. Please take advantage of all the entertainment and educational material that a rolling library facility can offer. - If you have special requests or needs you can call the library at 663-2826 and have material sent to your bookmobile stop. Anything in the library can travel. Need large print books, audio books, or graphic novels? There are DVD's, current issues of many popular magazines and assorted books for children and adults always available on the bookmobile. All ages are encouraged to use the mobile library. Come in and browse-it's worth your time to see what's on board.
- The children near the bookmobile stop can come in for a short Storytime. Some stops have scheduled Storytimes, but others can be added as needed. Just ask and the bookmobile driver will transform into the story lady. Kids can listen to a couple of short stories and take home a coloring sheet or craft to help reinforce the stories they heard.
- It's your county and its summertime! Stop and smell the roses. Pack a picnic lunch, grab your library card and visit one of the many county destinations of YOUR bookmobile. St. Paul, Burney and Milford are all surrounded by green fields and country streams. Clarksburg, New Point and Sandusky have nice parks with playgrounds and room to run.
