LIBRARY CARDS

All residents of Decatur County, 5 years of age and older, are entitled to a free Library card. Non-residents who attend school or own property in Decatur County are currently entitled to a free Library card.

Non-residents who do not qualify for a free card may purchase a GPL card at the cost of $35 (as of 2005). This card is good for one year and price is subject to change without notice. Inquire at main circulation desk.

The replacement charge for lost cards is $2.00.

Proper Identification must be presented to apply for a Library card. Proper Identification is one of the following:

If the presented Proper Identification does not display a current address, one of the following must also be presented (it must include a current address):

Children under the age of 18 must have a parent's signature on their Library card application.
